Situated between Montreal and Quebec City on the North Shore of the St. Lawrence River, the Links O'Loup Golf Club in Louiseville invites you to spend some enjoyable leisure time on its links-style course—offering you, in the process, some well-deserved relaxation.
**History**
The Mauricie region boasts several magnificent golf courses, and among them stands the Links O’Loup Golf Club.
It was in 1965 that the first nine holes of *La Seigneurie de Grand Pré* made their debut, designed by architect Howard Watson. At that time, the club had a membership of just 100—all of whom were shareholders.
In 1976, Mr. Niquet—the owner at the time—inaugurated the second nine holes of the course. The years that followed saw a succession of different owners.
Then, in 1985, Robert Rousseau—the former number 15 for the Montreal Canadiens—acquired the property that would eventually become Links O’Loup: a course that would go on to host numerous championships and tournaments in the years to come.
Today, the Louiseville Golf Club is owned by the SZL Group.
